London-based ad tech company InSkin Media prepares for next stage of international growth
London, 16 March 2016 – InSkin Media, the international advertising technology business, has announced the appointment of Andrew Walmsley, the founder of pioneering digital media agency i-level, as its new Chairman. Andrew is active in a number of early stage internet ventures, and sits on the boards of The Eden Project and Cruise.co.uk. He was previously Chairman of mobile agency Fetch, which was successfully sold to Dentsu Aegis. He has been a non-executive director on InSkin’s board for the past 2 years.
Hugo Drayton, InSkin’s CEO, commented: “I am delighted that Andrew has agreed to step up to the role of Chairman. Since he joined the board 2 years ago, he has made a significant contribution to our continued growth and international expansion. His experience in advertising, and his understanding and ambition for the media industry, are huge assets as we continue to innovate and develop our business.”

Andrew Walmsley added: “InSkin occupies a unique position in the online media landscape, widely recognised for its innovative technology, great customer service and high-value proposition for publishers and agencies alike. Its unwavering focus on quality relationships and talent has driven strong growth – it’s exciting to be asked to contribute to that success story.”

InSkin Media’s previous Chairman, Trevor Hope, was the Investor Director on behalf of Beringea, the London-based VCT. Trevor has stepped down as he recently moved from Beringea to take up a new investment advisory role at Mobeus Equity Partners. Karen McCormick, Investment Director at Beringea, will now represent Beringea on the InSkin board.
Drayton said: “We are very grateful for Trevor’s stewardship, support and enthusiasm for InSkin over the past 3 years. We thank him for his investment and faith in our business, and wish him every success in the future. We are very happy to welcome Karen to the board. Her deep experience and media sector knowledge will be highly beneficial to InSkin Media.”
InSkin Media, founded and based in London, with over 6 years of active trading, is now established as a global business, with offices in Hamburg, Sydney, Singapore and Hong Kong, as well as a significant global footprint through its premium international publisher partnerships.
