Adtech firm Inskin Media has hired Darryl Choo as head of sales for South East Asia.

He moves from BBC Global News where he was account manager on advertising sales. Choo will head the sales team which was recently expanded with several hires in Singapore and Hong Kong.

Inskin Media has announced the appointment of Darryl Choo as Head of Sales for South East Asia. Heading up a newly expanded sales team, Darryl will be responsible for driving revenue in South East Asia.

Darryl, who has over a decade of advertising sales experience, will lead Inskin’s Singapore sales team. He joins Inskin from BBC Global News Ltd, where he was responsible for generating revenue from Singapore based media agencies, trading desks, DSP and direct clients. During his tenure at BBC Global News, Darryl was involved in closing BBC Singapore’s biggest contract at S$ 1 million, and was shortlisted for BBC APAC & EMEA 16/17 Employee of the Year Award in the Best New Content Deal category.

Since Inskin’s launch in Asia in 2013, the business has worked with over 60 blue chip brands including Samsung, HSBC, Universal Pictures, Tmall, Cathay Pacific and LVMH.

To meet growing demand, further recent hires have been made in Singapore, namely Enen Li as Commercial Manager, Arpana Sarkar as Senior Sales Executive and Sojin Park as Senior Sales Executive. The team will be working under Darryl’s leadership to accelerate commercial growth and expand into neighbouring South East Asian markets. New hires have also been made in Hong Kong, with Shui Leung and Ingrid Cheung joining Inskin as Commercial Managers.
